Mary - I am so 'wishy washy'.

At times I long deeply for the colors of Spring and Summer and Fall, the landscape looks so very .... dead, even though I know it is just a season of rest, and other times I am fascinated by the trees without leaves. I used to wonder if the part that is underground was exactly like the above ground part - like a barbell.

I started a project (a second blog of course) for this year (I must have been crazy) 1 picture with a quote and a scripture for everyday (I used to be a worship leader, preparing slides with song lyrics on them - but I used other folks pictures). Now I am using my own and so far most of the pictures are winter trees or dead looking brush. That is pretty much all we have this time of year.

Your photo inspires me to not worry so much about it, and enjoy the moment we are in and world around us. Your photo is so very peaceful and beautiful as well!

You didn't know you were going to be an encourager today, did you?
